Jacques Dignard

Senior Vice-President, People and Culture, Desjardins Group

Jacques Dignard is Senior Vice-President, People and Culture of Desjardins Group. He is responsible for providing human resources leadership, managing the changes related to the new organizational structure, contributing to the development of a culture of collaboration and participation, and promoting the professional development of persons employed by Desjardins Group.

Mr. Dignard has been with Desjardins since 1976, and has held various human resources management positions including Senior Vice-President of Human Resources of Desjardins Group. Over the course of his career he also held positions in the fields of business development and operations.

In addition to being a member of the Ordre des administrateurs agréés du Québec, Mr. Dignard has a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations from the Université de Montréal. He is a member of the Ordre professionnel des conseillers en relations industrielles du Québec.

In October 2006, Mr. Dignard was awarded the Prix émérite de l'Ordre des CRHA et des CRIA du Québec and, in May 2007, received an award of merit from the Université de Montréal. He also serves on the Board of Directors of several Quebec companies and is known for his commitment to the community.
