Denis Paré

President, Council of Representatives - Estrie

President of the Caisse populaire Desjardins de la Saint-François, Denis Paré is a notary by profession.

In addition to sitting on the Board of Directors of the Fédération des caisses Desjardins du Québec, Caisse centrale Desjardins, Capital Desjardins, Desjardins Venture Capital and Desjardins Trust, he is also a member of the Executive Committee and of the Human Resources Commissions and Committees of these bodies. Mr. Paré is Chair of the Desjardins Group Retirement Committee and a member of its Investment Committee. He also sits on the Committee on the Aggregate Remuneration of the President and Chief Executive Officer of Desjardins Group and on the Investment Commission of the Fédération.

He was Chair of the Audit and Ethics Board of the Fédération des caisses populaires Desjardins de l'Estrie from 1991 to 2001.
