Clément Samson

President, Council of Representatives - Québec Ouest – Rive-Sud

President of the Caisse populaire Desjardins de Lévis, Clément Samson is an attorney.

Mr. Samson is a member and Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Fédération des caisses Desjardins du Québec, Caisse centrale Desjardins, Capital Desjardins, Desjardins Venture Capital and Desjardins Trust, and is a member of the Human Resources Committees and Commissions of these bodies. He is a member of the Committee on the Aggregate Remuneration of the President and Chief Executive Officer of Desjardins Group. He is also Chair of the Board of Directors of Desjardins General Insurance Group.

Mr. Samson is Second Vice-President of the Conseil québécois de la coopération et de la mutualité and President of the Fondation de l'Université du Québec.

He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Fédération des caisses populaires Desjardins de Québec from 1999 to 2001.
