André Lachapelle

President of the Caisse Desjardins de Nouvelle Acadie, André Lachapelle is a notary by profession, and associated with a private practice in his region.

Mr. Lachapelle is a member of the Board of Directors of the Fédération des caisses Desjardins du Québec, Caisse centrale Desjardins, Capital Desjardins, Desjardins Venture Capital and Desjardins Trust.

Mr. Lachapelle is a member of the Risk Management Commission of the Fédération and of Caisse centrale Desjardins, and of the Risk Management Committee of Desjardins Trust,. He is also President and Administrator of Capital régional et coopératif Desjardins.

He was President of the Fédération des caisses populaires Desjardins de Lanaudière from 1995 to 2001.
