Procedure for downloading Internet Explorer

N.B.: These browsers are not hosted by the Desjardins Group Web site. They are hosted by their respective manufacturers.

• For Windows XP: download version 6 SP1.
• For Windows 2000:download version 6 SP1.
• For Windows VISTA: download version 7.0.
• For Macintosh: (Microsoft no longer offers a version for Mac users) www.netscape.ca/browser or www.apple.com/ca

Procedure for Windows XP

Please print or take note of the following procedure.

1. Download Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 SP1 128 bit in English or in French
2. In the new window, click on Run this program from its current location. Click OK.
3. Follow the instructions to install the program.
   
   Note: This download will take approximately two hours on a 28.8 modem.

Procedure for Windows 2000

Please print or take note of the following procedure.

1. Download Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 SP1 128 bit in English or in French
2. In the new window, click on Run this program from its current location. Click OK.
3. Follow the instructions to install the program.
   
   Note: This download will take approximately two hours on a 28.8 modem.
   
   
4. When your computer restarts, click on the following link: Windows 2000 High Encryption Pack
5. In the next window choose a language and click Go.
6. Then select Windows 2000 High Encryption Pack Standard Download
7. In the new window, click Run this program from its current location and then click OK.
8. Follow the instructions to install the program.
   
   Note: This download will take approximately four minutes on a 28.8 modem.

Procedure for Windows Vista

Windows Vista includes the latest version of Internet Explorer, i.e. version 7.0.

Follow the instructions to install the program.
