Enhanced AccèsD and AccèsD Affaires log-on procedure
Desjardins has launched a new AccèsD log-on procedure as part of our ongoing commitment to bring you the highest possible information security standards. This system allows you to make your transactions in complete security.
Logging on
Until January 20, 2008, your Desjardins Access Card number (AccèsD) or user code (AccèsD Affaires) and your password were still entered on the same page:
Since January 20, 2008, the log-on process has been taking place in 2 separate steps instead of one.
First, the log-on page asks you to enter your Desjardins Access Card number (AccèsD) or user code (AccèsD Affaires):
Then, a second page asks you to enter your password:
Configuring your security settings
At some point, when you log on as usual to AccèsD or AccèsD Affaires, you will be asked to configure your new security settings. Important: No e-mail will be forwarded to you to change your configuration.
Configuring your security settings consists of 3 steps:
- Creating a personal phrase and memorizing an image.
- Selecting 3 questions and entering the answers.
- Reviewing and confirming your new security settings.

Over the next few months, AccèsD and AccèsD Affaires users will be randomly invited to follow the configuration procedure. AccèsD users will be the first to be invited, followed by AccèsD Affaires users. These steps are essential and cannot be postponed.
AccèsD log-on with new settings
With the new security settings, once you've entered your Desjardins Access Card number (or AccèsD Affaires user code), the system will display your personal phrase and image:
Your personal phrase and image displayed confirm that you are on the genuine AccèsD or AccèsD Affaires site. Never enter your password if either of these elements is missing!
If you log on from a non-usual location, you'll be asked to answer a question you've selected when configuring your new security settings:
This step verifies your identity. Simply answer the question to access your accounts.
