Desjardins Business Ownership Transfer Award

The Desjardins Business Ownership Transfer Award is awarded to companies that have most successfully achieved a business ownership transfer. Companies must demonstrate a well-thought-out transfer plan and a well-organized succession plan.

Before you apply

Ensure that:

• your company's business ownership transfer occurred within the last 2 years
• the company's head office is located in Quebec or Ontario

Selection criteria

The selection committee will evaluate candidates according to the following criteria:

• Preparation and planning of the business transfer process
• Transition plan
• Company's financial health
• Entrepreneurial abilities of the new owner(s)
• Potential for success

1. Fill out and print out the application form (PDF, 398 KB).
2. Forward the completed form to your account manager, caisse, Desjardins Business Centre or any other Desjardins subsidiary you do business with.
