Desjardins Business Ownership Transfer Prize

The Desjardins Business Ownership Transfer Prize is awarded, in collaboration with Samson Bélair/Deloitte & Touche, to companies that have most successfully achieved a business ownership transfer. Companies must demonstrate a well thought-out transfer plan and a well organized succession plan.

Before you apply

Ensure that:

• your company's business ownership transfer occurred within the last two years;
• the company's head office is located in Quebec or Ontario.

Selection criteria

The selection committee will evaluate candidates according to the following criteria:

• Preparation and planning of the business transfer process
• Transition plan
• Company's financial health
• Entrepreneurial abilities of the new owner(s)
• Potential for success

1. Fill out and print out the application form (PDF format, 796 KB).
2. Forward the completed form to your account manager, caisse, Desjardins Business Centre or any other Desjardins subsidiary you do business with.
