Desjardins Young Entrepreneur Award

Desjardins supports entrepreneurship among young people aged 18-35 by awarding prizes to 4 young entrepreneurs who set themselves apart by their creativity, leadership, achievement and contribution to job creation and community development.

Fondation Desjardins awards 4 Desjardins Young Entrepreneur Awards, or one prize of $10,000 per region:

• Eastern Quebec
• Central Quebec
• Western Quebec
• Ontario

Before you apply

Ensure that your company:

• is headed by young leaders between 18 and 35
• has been in business at least 1 year and no more than 5 years
• is headquartered in Quebec or Ontario

Selection criteria

The selection committee evaluates eligible candidates according to the following criteria:

• Innovation and creativity
• Vision and leadership
• Achievements and development potential
• Number of jobs created in Canada
• Financial structure
• Community involvement
