Desjardins Young Entrepreneur Prizes

Desjardins and the Secrétariat à la Jeunesse support entrepreneurship among young people by awarding prizes to 4 young entrepreneurs who set themselves apart by their creativity, achievement and contribution to job creation. Each winner will be awarded a $10,000 bursary.

Four Desjardins Young Entrepreneur Prizes are awarded or one per region:

• Eastern Quebec
• Central Quebec
• Western Quebec
• Ontario

If a company is located in several regions, priority will be given to the region where it is headquartered.

Before you apply

Ensure that your company:

• is headed by young leaders between 18 and 35;
• has been in business at least 1 year and no more than 5 years;
• is headquartered in Quebec or Ontario.

Selection criteria

The selection committee evaluates eligible candidates according to the following criteria:

• Innovation and originality
• Vision and leadership
• Achievements and development potential
• Number of jobs created in Canada
• Financial structure
• Community involvement

1. Fill out and print the application form (PDF format, 630 KB).
2. Forward the completed form to your account manager, caisse, Desjardins Business Centre or any other Desjardins subsidiary you do business with.
