Dear Entrepreneur,

Vision, creativity, tenacity and passion are usually qualities that apply to entrepreneurs. Celebrating the qualities and exceptional achievements of entrepreneurs serves as an inspiration for those who want to follow in their footsteps, as well as for all of society which benefits from their skills and knowledge.

With the aim of recognizing sound management practices in agricultural business, we added the new "Agriculture" to our previous 4 prize categories this year. We want to recognize the sound management practices of businesses in this sector, regardless of their stage of business.

Finalists and winners are selected by an independent selection committee.

Prize category

Desjardins International Commerce Prize	Awarded to companies with outstanding international commerce strategies.
Desjardins Young Entrepreneur Prizes	Awarded to entrepreneurs age 18 to 35 who stand out for their creativity, achievements and contribution to job creation.
Desjardins Sustainable Development Prizes	Awarded to companies with outstanding management practices, sound operations and responsible social leadership in terms of the environment and their community.
Desjardins Business Ownership Transfer Prize	Awarded to companies that best achieve a business ownership transfer.
Desjardins Agriculture Prize	Awarded to agriculture companies that stand out because of their sound management practices and solid financial performance.
