Desjardins Sustainable Development Award

The Desjardins Sustainable Development Award is awarded to companies that demonstrate effective management, sound operations and socially responsible leadership. Companies must show sound financial performance and their commitment to sustainable development by contributing to the well-being of the community or environment.

Before you apply

Ensure that your company:

• has recently obtained excellent financial results
• is headquartered in Quebec or Ontario

Selection criteria

The selection committee evaluates eligible candidates according to the following criteria:

• Vision and leadership
• Sustainable development opportunities
• Financial management
• Human resources management
• Number of jobs created in Canada
• Community involvement (community, environment, sustainable development)
