Mission

Desjardins Cooperative Institute plays a mobilization role within the Group by conveying and sharing the values, vision, orientations and strategies of Desjardins.

It provides a time and place where, based on a common understanding of the cooperative difference and the challenges facing the Group, officers and managers from its different components exchange ideas, enrich their knowledge, adapt behaviour and integrate Desjardins governance and management practices, for the benefit of Desjardins members and clients.

Distinction

Compared to the internal and external training programs currently offered to Desjardins Group officers or directors and employees, DCI sets itself apart by providing programs based on:
  • Desjardins awareness, focussed on a renewed, dynamic way of sharing the mission and values of Desjardins
  • Desjardins governance and management, oriented towards the development of strategic competencies and Desjardins practices
