Board of Directors of the FCDQ

The Board of Directors (BD) of the Fédération des caisses Desjardins du Québec (FCDQ) assumes the governance of Desjardins Cooperative Institute (DCI). Its mandate is to:
  • ensure that DCI orientations are in line with its mission;
  • ensure that DCI programs are consistent with Desjardins Group strategic directions and issues;
  • approve the DCI annual report and activities for 2004 and 2005;
  • on an annual basis, approve DCI development and operating budgets.

Educational Advisory Committee

Composition

An educational advisory committee serves to continually improve the DCI education program by following the exemplary practices of corporate "schools" and "universities". The committee is composed of:
  • two members of the BD of the Fédération des caisses Desjardins du Québec (FCDQ);
  • the Senior Vice-President of the FCDQ Human Resources and Operations Executive Division;
  • three DCI clientele representatives;
  • two representatives from universities recognized for their education theory and adult business education programs, as well as for their knowledge of other similar training institutions.

Mandate

  • Approve DCI annual programs based on clientele needs and expectations
  • Ensure the quality of educational methods
  • Approve DCI program evaluation criteria
  • Receive and comment on the annual evaluation report and ensure the required follow-ups
  • Contribute to DCI's monitoring of exemplary practices in the field
