You decide. That is, you and the other members of your caisse will decide at the upcoming Annual General Meeting. Together, you will set the amount of member dividends that will be paid to caisse members and the community.
The member dividends you receive are proportional to your volume of business with the caisse during the year. It's simple: the more products and services you use, the more you get paid.
Where does the money come from?
The money comes from the surplus earnings the caisse makes during its financial year. As a financial services cooperative, your caisse shares its profits with its members.
