"People have a lot faith in me here, and my flexible work schedule means that I can balance family and work commitments. It's wonderful because that way when I arrive at the office in the morning, I am completely focused on my clients.

I have excellent work tools that enable me to follow the progress of a telephone conversation and ask the right questions. But I have to know how to explain things clearly and understand each client's intentions, and how to related the two; for example, which insurance protection would be best for which property they own. In other words, I have to advise them well because I'm protecting their wealth and I'm committed to an integrity-based client approach.

As well, insurance products tend to change quickly. Ongoing training is therefore essential to keep up to date with the latest products and to renew my approach."
