Caisse Desjardins de Sault-au-Récollet–Montréal-Nord also contributes to the Desjardins Foundation, which awards over a half million dollars in scholarships each year.
To help introduce children to sound savings habits at an early age, Caisse Desjardins de Sault-au-Récollet–Montréal-Nord actively supports the educational school caisse services at the following schools: Adélard-Desrosiers, Pierre-de-Coubertin, René-Guénette, Saint-Rémi and Saint-Vincent-Marie.
Homework assistance programWorking closely with the École secondaire Calixa-Lavallée and with the support of the "Agir Autrement" program, the Caisse created a homework assistance program. This program gives students access to a team of enthusiastic teachers, to healthy snacks and to free extracurricular activities. This helps junior students take up the challenge of high school studies.
