About the caisse

The mission of the Caisse Desjardins du Centre de Portneuf is first and foremost to provide its members with quality financial services that meet the needs of all its clienteles, and at the best possible cost. As a cooperative financial institution with deep roots in the community, it also intends to fully play its social role.

As an institution that defines itself as listening to its members and partnering with the community, the Caisse concretely supports initiatives aimed at increasing collective well-being and the autonomy of all. To ensure its continuity, the Caisse focuses on workforce renewal and promotes cooperative education.

On January 1, 2020, Caisse Desjardins du Centre de Portneuf officially welcomed Caisse populaire Desjardins de Les Écureuils. The Board of Directors of the new entity decided to keep the Caisse’s name. Today's Caisse Desjardins du Centre de Portneuf is the result of the merger of the Desjardins de Pont-Rouge–Saint-Basile and Caisse Desjardins de l'Anse (Portneuf) on January 1, 2012.

Caisse de Donnacona history

Caisse Desjardins de Donnacona was founded on March 17, 1935, with a 50-cent deposit. On January 1, 2015, the caisse joined Caisse Desjardins du Centre de Portneuf.

Caisse de Pont-Rouge–Saint-Basile history

Caisse Desjardins de Pont-Rouge–Saint-Basile was the result of the merger of Caisse populaire Desjardins de Pont-Rouge, founded on November 30, 1936, and Caisse populaire Desjardins de Saint-Basile, founded on March 18, 1940. The merger of the 2 caisses took place on January 1, 2008.

Caisse Desjardins de l'Anse (Portneuf) history

Caisse Desjardins de l'Anse (Portneuf) was the result of the merger of Caisse populaire Desjardins de Cap-Santé, founded on June 26, 1940, Caisse de populaire de Portneuf, founded on July 5, 1943, and Caisse Portneuf Station (Notre-Dame-de-Portneuf), founded on April 2, 1960. The merger of the 3 caisses took place on June 1, 2002.
