About online account statements

Your Visa Desjardins account statement, the printed or online version, is a great way to keep track of your account.

It lists all the transactions of the current month (payments, purchases, capital payments, etc.) and information about the Accord D financing plans obtained in-store or at a caisse.

2 ways to receive your online statement

With a view to protecting the environment, there are 2 ways you can receive your online monthly statement:

  • Account statement on AccèsD: Desjardins members have access to the transactional AccèsD service, where they can view their online statements.
  • Account statement by epost: If you are a bank customer and make your financial transactions online, you can receive and open your monthly Visa Desjardins statement by epost electronic bill delivery service.

View your Visa Desjardins account information and statements at any time, under the Cards tab, on AccèsD Internet.

Features

  • Free registration
  • Access to your current statement and up to 12 archived statements
  • An email reminder that your Visa Desjardins statement is now available is sent to your personal email address and to your AccèsD message box1
  • Can be downloaded in PDF format so you can save or print it
  • Copies of your statement can be ordered, if needed

To use AccèsD
You have to be a Desjardins caisse member or Visa Desjardins credit or prepaid cardholder2.

Register for AccèsD

1. To go to your AccèsD message box, log on and click on the "Messages" link at the top of the screen, in the green area. If you have a message, a little envelope will appear underneath.

2. Once you have registered, you will only receive your Visa Desjardins statement electronically. You can cancel at any time.

If you are not a Desjardins member, and you do your banking online on your bank's website, you can receive your Visa Desjardins statement by epost, the electronic bill delivery service.

Features

  • Free
  • Option of receiving emailed notification that your monthly Visa Desjardins statement is in your epost box
  • Access to your Visa Desjardins statement as soon as it becomes available
  • View your statement any time and anywhere, at any given moment
  • Replaces the printed statement so you no longer receive your statement by mail

How it works

You do your banking elsewhere and are not signed up for epost:

  • Check the list of participating financial institutions.
  • If your bank is on the list, sign up for epost on your bank's site.
  • Once in epost, simply select Visa Desjardins from the list of electronic document providers to receive your statement.

Information on regular transactions

Page 1 of the statement provides information about all transactions made during the billing period and any equal monthly instalment financing (EPF) plans:

  1. epost payment: use the payment stub on the first page of your statement to make your monthly payment (equal instalments) and regular purchases.
  2. Fill in the amount of your payment in the Amount paid box. The Amount due, including monthly Accord D payments, appears here.
  3. Minimum payment due (also including Accord D monthly payments).
  4. Account balance information (current balance + Accord D balance).
  5. Transactions made by primary and secondary cardholders during the billing period.

Information about Accord D financing

The second page lists your financing plans (monthly payments, deferred payments and deferred principal payments) as well as transactions applied to these plans:

  1. Mailed payment: Use the payment stub to make principal payments, not monthly payments, on your Accord D financing plans only. Be sure to indicate your plan number and payment amount.
  2. Details of your financing plans, new Accord D transactions, Accord D monthly payments reported on page 1 (current purchases + Accord D monthly payments) and principal payments.
  3. The variation on principal corresponds to the total of all amounts debited and credited (purchases, merchandise returns and principal payments) during the statement period.
  4. Description of existing Accord D financing plans. Financing plan on which transaction was made.
