Members who use AccèsD Internet can now use this service to receive e-mails to alert them when certain events occur or are about to occur in their chequing, Visa Desjardins credit card or prepaid card accounts.

Alerts available

For members

For Visa Desjardins credit cardholders

  • Credit limit approaching alerts: informs you when your balance reaches the amount you specify.
  • Payment due date alerts (minimum payment not received): reminds you to make a payment by the due date listed on your account statement.
  • Card suspended for authentification alerts: informs you when your card has been temporarily deactivated for security reasons.
  • Card renewal alerts: informs you when your card is nearing its expiration date (30 to 60 days).
  • Accord D financing due date alerts: informs you when your Accord D financing due date is approaching.

For Visa Desjardins prepaid cardholders

  • Minimum balance reached alerts: informs you when you reach the minimum balance you specify.
  • Card renewal alerts: informs you when your card is nearing its expiration date (30 to 60 days).
  • Card suspended for authentification alerts: informs you when your card has been temporarily deactivated for security reasons.

This free service lets you keep a closer eye and better handle on your finances.

How to register for the Alert service

  1. Log on to AccèsD.
  2. Under the Operations/Transactions tab, click on User file in the upper right-hand portion of the page, and then Manage alerts under Alert service in the left-hand menu.
  3. To register for the Alert service, enter the email address at which you would like to receive the alerts and accept the service terms and conditions.
  4. The next step will be to activate your email address by entering the activation code that will be sent to you by email.
  5. Once your email address is activated, you can add alerts to your user file and define the delivery settings.

You'll then receive the email alerts according to the delivery settings specified.

For a stop payment on a cheque:

  • Name of recipient
  • Amount of cheque
  • Date of cheque

For a stop payment on a pre-authorized payment:

  • Payee name
  • Amount of the pre-authorized payment
  • Date of pre-authorized payment

Fee

Varies based on the number of cheques or pre-authorized payments on which you want stop payment.

On the Transactions/Operations page, under Account management, select Stop payment from the left-hand menu.

  1. On the page to which you are directed, click on Add a bill.
  2. Use the search tool to add the new organization to your bill file.
  3. Click on Make a payment in the left-hand menu to make your donation.

1. Desjardins makes its online donation service available to organizations by request, and under certain conditions, but does not necessarily endorse the organizations or their objectives.

AccèsD gives you fast access to your insurance file.

Property insurance

Get an overview of the property you have insured by Desjardins General Insurance under the Property insurance tab.

You'll find information about your personal auto or home insurance and business insurance.

  • Policy effective dates and expiration dates.
  • The amount insured and insurance premium amount.
  • Your policy's coverage, riders and privileges.
  • Information about the insured property.
  • Insurance file activity.

You'll also be able to change your address, request a quote online, change your payment method or file claims.

Life and health insurance

The Life and health insurance tab lets you see a portion of your Desjardins Financial Security personal insurance file.

You'll find:

  • the type of insurance you've taken out (Loan Insurance, Line of Credit Insurance, Savings-Life Insurance et Credit Balance Insurance, Travel Insurance or Accirance, Personal Accident Insurance)
  • the coverages associated with your account, credit card or Accirance contract (e.g., life or disability)

You can add other insurance policies to the Overview on AccèsD.

You'll also be able to apply for Travel Insurance or Accirance Accident Insurance online.

View and download your cheque images in PDF.

Who it's for

AccèsD users who are registered for the cheque imaging service can track their cheques online.

Members who are not registered for the cheque imaging service must contact their caisse or AccèsD Services directly to register.

Features

View and download

  • Lets you:
    • view the front and back of each cheque as soon as it's processed
    • download PDF images of the front and back of the cheque for a specific time period
  • You can access cheque images as soon as cheques are paid against your account:
    • view cheques for 62 days
    • download them for 124 days (current month and last 3 months) in PDF

Period covered

You can request cheques for up to 31 consecutive days at a time.

Access

Automatically accessible to members who already have the cheque or cheque image return option, meaning that they pay fees to have the caisse return to them the original cheques or copies of the cheques debited from their account.

Fees

Fees are identical to those of the cheque or cheque image return option.

Bank reconciliation

Download processed cheques for faster and easier bank reconciliation.

Search

Find cheques more easily with the sort function (by date or cheque number).

Environmental impact

Keep a digital history of cheque images; reduce paper and help protect the environment.

How it works

  1. Log on to AccèsD.
  2. Enter your card number and click Enter.
  3. On the next page, click on Forgot your password?.

You'll be prompted to answer a few questions to verify your identity.

If all information is entered correctly, you'll be asked to select a new password. If not, please call 1-800-CAISSES (1-800-224-7737).

The first time you use your new password, you'll be prompted to validate your authentication questions.

Obtain a valid document with your account information to provide to organizations when you do not have a cheque on hand.
