Scholarship contest

Caisse Desjardins du Sud de la Beauce is launching its scholarship contest, with a total of $18,500 awarded in the following 3 categories:

  • Scholarships
  • Merit scholarships
  • Academic perseverance scholarships

Fill out an entry form in the scholarship category of your choice.

Entry deadline: Friday, January 5, 2024, 11:59 p.m.

To be eligible, when entering the contest, students must be:

  • A member of Caisse Desjardins du Sud de la Beauce for at least 6 months
  • Between the ages of 14 and 30
  • Enrolled full-time at a recognized academic institution for the fall 2023 and winter 2024 semesters

Prizes

  • 10 scholarships of $200 for high school students
  • 10 scholarships of $500 for CEGEP or vocational school students
  • 10 scholarships of $750 for university students

Scholarships will be awarded by random draw on January 30, 2024, among participants who meet eligibility requirements.

Only the winners will be contacted by email by a Caisse Desjardins du Sud de la Beauce representative.

This category is for student caisse members between the ages of 14 and 30 who have achieved something in the field of arts and culture, community involvement or sports.

Prizes

$3,000 in merit scholarships will be handed out in the following categories:

  • Arts and culture
  • Community involvement
  • Sports

Merit scholarships will be awarded by jury selection among all participants who meet eligibility requirements. Winners will be selected during the week of February 5, 2024. Only winners will be contacted by email by a Caisse Desjardins du Sud de la Beauce representative.

To be eligible, participants must be members of Caisse Desjardins du Sud de la Beauce for at least 6 months at the time they enter the contest.

Arts and culture category

Do you set yourself apart by your learning process or artistic development path? Do your initiatives help advance the arts? Are you creative and original in the way you promote them? Do you surpass yourself each day to achieve your dreams?

Your caisse could reward you through a merit scholarship in the arts and culture category.

Are you involved in a community project as a volunteer? Merit scholarships in the community involvement category reward young caisse members who stand out for their community involvement.

Merit scholarships in the sports category reward local athletes to help them pursue their and achieve their goals.

This portion of the contest is open to high school students who are experiencing a challenging time but have shown determination in staying in school. Candidates must be members of Caisse Desjardins du Sud de la Beauce for at least 6 months when they enter the contest.

  • 2 scholarships of $500

Academic perseverance scholarships will be awarded by random draw on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, among eligible participants.
