AgriInvest Account

Make the most of your savings and amounts received

  • Administration fees depend on volume of monthly transactions and average monthly account balance
  • Free monthly account statements
  • Eligible for potential member dividends
  • Exclusively for agri-businesses of Ontario

Commercial account into which you can deposit your savings and amounts received under the Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAC) AgriInvest program.

  • Canadian dollar account
  • A single deposit per AgriInvest deposit notice (usually once a year)
  • Regular transactions can be made at the caisse counter and by automated services

  • Exclusively for Ontario farmers deemed eligible for the Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada AgriInvest program
  • In Quebec the AgriInvest program is handled by Financière agricole du Québec
  • Eligibility is determined by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada

This account does not bear interest. If however, your organization has a history of regular cash flow or wishes to consolidate funds in this account, an interest rate may be available pending the results of an analysis of transactions. The interest rate is set based on the Caisse centrale Desjardins prime rate, less a certain percentage.
